WBPSC Judicial Service Recruitment 2022Educational Qualification:
(i) Law degree from a university or institution affiliated to a university recognized by the State Government or Central Government.
(ii) Nomination as a lawyer in the role of bar council of a state or union territory in India.
(iii) Ability to read, write, and speak in Bengali (not required for candidates whose mother tongue is Nepali).

Selection Process of WBPSC Judicial Service Recruitment 2022: All the candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the Preliminary Examination, a Mains Examination, and a Personal Interview.
WBPSC Judicial Service Recruitment 2022Exam Pattern/Syllabus: The WBJS exam will be conducted in three stages, namely (i) Preliminary Examination (MCQ Type), (ii) Final Examination (Conventional Type – Written), and (iii) Personality Test.
a) Preliminary Examination
The preliminary examination will consist of an objective type paper consisting of 200 multiple-choice questions. The paper will be of 200 marks and will be of 2.5 hours duration.

b) Main Exam
The final examination will consist of eight compulsory papers and three papers on elective subjects to be selected by the candidates from the list of elective subjects. Each compulsory and optional paper will be of 100 marks and will be of three hours duration.
The standard of examination in law paper (compulsory and optional) will be LLB. Degree of University of Calcutta.
