Candidates who can apply for the 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE norms can apply for the examination.

The candidate should have passed HSC or its equivalent from a recognized board with at least 50% marks.
- 5% discount will be given to reserved category candidates.
- The candidate must be an Indian.
- The age of the candidate should not be more than 35 years.
- The reserved candidates will get 5 years relaxation.
WB D.El.Ed 2022 Merit List
Applicant selection is mainly based on merit list. The merit list of the applicant will be based on their 10 + 2 + 3 marks. The merit list of the applicant will be released by the rank authority (district wise). The seat allocation of the applicant will be done through a consultation process.
All the information of the applicant must be correct or the seat will be canceled at the time of document verification. Applicants can check their merit list by selecting the course and enter their registration number and date of birth.

Migration
Migration may be considered at the sole discretion of Director SCERT. Candidates admitted from one DIET to another DIET in rare compassionate / eligible circumstances in the initial phase only in the first year. Any stay from one private college to another will not be considered by the concerned authority.
False documents
The admission of any candidate obtained on the basis of false, false, fabricated or tampered documents will be liable to be canceled at any stage, apart from filing a criminal case against him or her for re-entry into the Diet. stop. For a period of three years. In case of any dispute, the final decision will be taken by the Diet Directors.
