WBJEE ANM GNM New Syllabus 2023-24

All questions will be of Multiple- Choice Questions (MCQ) type, with four, answered options. There will be 100 questions in WBJEE ANM & GNM 2023 exam, the time limit for WBJEE ANM & GNM 2023 exam is one and half hours (1 and 1/2 hours). The medium of the question paper will be in both English and Bengali language.

Life Science, Physical Science, and Mathematics will be based on 10th standard syllabi of the recognized Board/Councils in India, and English, General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning will be equivalent to the 12th standard curriculum.

WBJEE ANM & GNM Scoring Methodology 2023-24

a) Category 1:

• Only one option is correct.
• The correct option will yield a 1 (one) mark
• An incorrect option will yield -1/4 (negative 1/4) marks.
• For any combination of more than one option, even if it contains the correct option, the said answer will be treated as incorrect and will yield -1/4 (negative 1/4) marks.
• Not attempting the question will fetch 0 marks.

b) Category 2:

• One or more question is/are correct.
• Marking all correct options only will 2 (two) marks.
• For any combination of answers containing one or more incorrect options, the said answer will be treated as incorrect, and it will yield a zero (0) mark even if one or more of the chosen options is/are correct.
• For partially correct answers, i.e., when all correct options aren’t marked and also no incorrect options are marked awarded = 2 x (no of correct options marked) / (total no of actually correct options)
• Not attempting the question will fetch 0 marks.
