On the other hand, students in the state have not been able to go to school for a long time. Especially lower-class students. With this in mind, the state government is launching a project to teach children in different parts of the country. It has been named ‘Paraya Shikshalay’. Students will be taught in an open space in the neighborhood. The goal of this project is the overall development of children, said the Minister of Education. The project is being launched on February 8. The government hopes that more than 6 million students will be brought under the project.

Bratya Basu said today that primary school teachers and teachers of children’s education centers will teach children in any open space where there is a low risk of covid infection. A total of 1.84 lakh primary teachers from 50,159 primary schools and 15,599 children’s education centers will participate in this initiative.

School closed for last 2 years. Although the school was opened from the ninth to the twelfth grade, the primary level students have not set foot in the school for the last two years. This initiative is basically for them. Bratya Basu said UNICEF also welcomed the effort. Such steps are being taken on the initiative of the Chief Minister. In this case, children of 5-10 years will be brought under that project. The goal is to bring children back to the learning environment.

“I am in favor of opening a school,” said Kajal Krishna Banik, a prominent doctor who has been thinking of opening schools in the state step by step. Because all the expert institutes claim that corona infection is less among school children. Our country’s report says that a large part of schooling has created antibodies. Many adults have received two doses of the vaccine. So the chances of the infection spreading are much lower.
