After the student credit card, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced a new project for the students of the state. Mamata told a press conference on Monday that a new project is being brought for the students this time. Only students living in the state will get the benefit.
Giving details about the project, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said, “The state government is inaugurating a new project. Name Students Internship Scheme, 2022. This is for those who live in Bengal, ”she said.

West Bengal Student Internship Programme Scheme 2022 – Eligibility Criteria
The Chief Minister said those who have passed with at least 60 percent marks and are below 40 years of age, can apply for this internship. The government will take 6,000 interns a year. They will be trained to come up with comprehensive ideas about various projects of the state government. They will receive training on how government projects are implemented and how to prepare themselves for government projects. The Chief Minister also said that this work is for public service.
West Bengal Student Internship Programme 2022 – Allowance Given
The trainees will get an honorarium of Rs 5,000 per month for the work.

Student Internship Scheme Programme 2022 – Internship Duration
According to Mamata, the internship will be taken for one year first. Those who do well will have their work reviewed. Enthusiasts will be able to apply online for that internship. After that the board formed under the leadership of the chief secretary will make appointments based on their stages. The Chief Minister said that the board will work in coordination with the education department.
